This year we plan to have the Cream Club Conference on a boat cruising on the River Dnepr. The boat offers all facilities needed during the Conference: small but nice rooms, conference rooms, excellent food and a great view on the Ukrainian landscape.

The conference participants can check in on Sunday night in Dnipropetrovs’k and check out on Wednesday morning only 1.5 hours away from Kiev.

To organise this it is extremely important to have a very early indication of the participation during Conference. We need to know the number of Cream Club members who join the Conference as soon as possible. Only with this information we can book the right boat. If the members do not confirm their participation we would miss this chance and we will see much less of the country as well as a lot less farms.

Pre-Conference program:

The Pre-Conference program offers a unique possibility to the Cream Club Members. Each member of the Cream Club can join the Milk Rivers Conference organised by Agro-Soyuz free of charge.

The conference organiser assume that up to 300 participants from countries like Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldavia, Poland and Georgia etc. will join the Conference. In addition top-level speaker from the USA will contribute to the program.

It is the free choice of the Cream Club members to join as long as they like. However I would like to stress that especially the Saturday’s and Sunday’s program may be of a high interest for the members.

On Saturday the results of the first three conference days will be summarised and combined into “farm models”. Farm models in this regard are fully defined set-ups of farms meeting the requirements to run an economically viable business (sizes of the farm models planned: 1,000-, 2,000-, and 5,000-cow operations).

Parallel to the Milk-Rivers Conference farm visits will be offered to the Cream Club Members in the area of Dnipropetrovs’k on Saturday and Sunday (15^th and 16^th of October).

Transportation and accommodation prior and after the Conference:

The organised Pre-Program will start on Friday evening with a common diner in Dnipropetrovs’k. The Cream Club Members are responsible for their transportation to the city centre. The Cream Club management offers in co-operation with Agro-Soyuz to help with the national flight from Kiev to Dnipropetrovs’k. A transport from the airport to the City Centre can be organised if communicated early enough. Otherwise taxis are always available and driving time is less than 30 minutes.

For those who arrive in Kiev (airport: Borispol) and do not have a direct connection to Dnipropetros’k a short farm visit near the airport can be organised (same farm as on the last conference day). Also a hotel is available very close to the airport. The centre of Kiev is only 30 minutes (in the rush hours it takes more time!) from the airport. Kiev is a beautiful multi-cultural, multi-religious city. If communicated early, support can be offered to find a hotel down-town e.g.

After the Conference the Cream Club Members can stay in Kiev on their own as well. The program officially ends on Wednesday (19^th of Oct.) afternoon at around 15.00 hours close to the airport .
